Our QCIHungary project was represented at the 2024 Conference of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DGLR) organised in Hamburg from 30 September to 2 October.
The 73rd Deutsche Luft- und Raumfahrtkongresses is the largest German scientific aerospace conference, with 13 parallel technical sessions, interesting plenary lectures and an exhibition.
On 2 October, in his presentation titled “Technical challenges of free-space quantum key distribution developments”, László Bacsárdi, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of BME, the University of Technology and Economics, presented the latest results of his institution in the field of free-space quantum communication. He described the current developments of their free-space quantum key distribution facility within the QCIHungary project. The co-authors of the presentation were Márton Czermann and Máté Galambos from the BME Mobile Communication and Quantum Technologies Laboratory.
