About the plans of QCIHungary at the IDC CIO Summit

Dr. László Bacsárdi, associate professor at the BME Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics gave an invited presentation at this year’s IDC CIO Summit.

This year’s IDC CIO Summit was held in Esztergom, Hungary, from 9-10 November 2023, targeting IT managers and representatives of Hungarian companies.

In his invited presentation entitled “The Quantum Threat”, Dr. Bacsárdi reviewed the opportunities and challenges of quantum computing, the technological challenges of quantum communication, the objectives of the QCIHungary consortium, and the results of quantum key distribution research at the BME Department of Networking Systems and Services.
