On the occasion of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, the Section of Physical Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) will present a 12-part public lecture series in September 2025. The series aims to showcase the scientific achievements of the past hundred years in the field of quantum science to a broad audience.

The lectures will be delivered by leading experts in the field, who will explain their research area in an easy-to-understand way. Attendees will learn about the revolutionary impact of quantum science on fields such as astronomy, information technology, medicine, and engineering. Among the speakers are also experts from the QCIHungary project.

The lecture series will be held in the recently renovated Main Hall of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and attendance is free of charge.
