PRISM EuroQCI Quantum Communications Summer School in Malta

2024.09.02. /Posted byQCI Hungary

Two researchers of QCIHungary, Botond Márton (Budapest University of Technology and Economics) and Ottó Hanyecz (Eötvös Loránd Science

University) had great experiences at the Quantum Communications Summer School in Malta between July 22-26 organized by the Maltese National QCI Project (PRISM EuroQCI).

During the event, participants had the opportunity to hear lectures from the PRISM team on a range of topics, including quantum mechanics, quantum key distribution, error correction and the outlook for QKD networks.

Following the theoretical sessions, the organizers presented practical examples and offered the chance to visit one of the nodes in the Maltese national QKD network.

Thank you PRISM EuroQCI, University of Malta, Merqury Cybersecurity and all the partners for the great event!
