Quantum Communications Summer School in Malta

Malta’s national QCI project, PRISM, organises a Quantum Communications Summer School, scheduled for 22nd to 26th July 2024 at the University of Malta’s Msida Campus. The organisers encourage anyone interested in working in the field of quantum communications to register and attend. Industry professionals are particularly encouraged to apply. A fee waiver will be available to full-time students who are interested in applying for the Summer School, on condition that they provide proof of enrolment.

The Quantum Communications Summer School promises an enriching experience with a well-structured curriculum featuring two-hour lectures and practical sessions each day. Attendees will delve into various topics, including the fundamentals of quantum mechanics, Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) protocols, error correction techniques, and advancements in QKD beyond point-to-point networks. These sessions will be led by esteemed academics and industry professionals, ensuring participants receive expert guidance and insights throughout the course.

Certificate of Attendance will be awarded at the end of the course
