Space quantum communication presentation in Riga

László Bacsárdi, associate professor at Budapest University of Technology and Economics gave an invited lecture at the largest Baltic technology conference.

The organizers of the largest Baltic technology conference, Deep Tech Atelier 2023 invited László Bacsárdi, associate professor at the BME Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics to give a lecture entitled “Space for ICT: Quantum for next generation communication” in Riga on April 20. In his presentation, he talked about the present and future of quantum communication, satellite quantum communication, the different activities of the Quantum Informational National Laboratory of Hungary and the planned activities of the QCIHungary project. He detailed the free-space quantum communication developments at the BME Department of Networked Systems and Services
