We attended the largest European quantum technology conference

Europe’s largest quantum technology related conference, the European Quantum Technologies Conference 2024, was held in Lisbon from November 18 to 20.

Laszlo Bacsardi, associate professor, and Kitti Olah, Ph.D student represented the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics at the event. They presented their research supported by the QCIHungary project.

The event was opened by Gustav Kalbe from the European Commission (acting director, DG Communications Networks, Content and Technology C Digital Excellence and Science Infrastructure) and a live #QKD (quantum key distribution) demo was organized by the Italian company Telsy, a live videoconference over a network of nearly 100 kilometres in Lisbon using the devices of QTI SRL.
