From 14-18 October 2024, the International Astronautical Congress (IAC2024), one of the largest international space conferences, was held in Milan, with more than 11,000 participants.

The QCIHungary project was represented at the IAC2024 by three representatives from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME).

In addition to the traditional oral presentations, the conference also included an interactive presentation block series – in this block series alone, more than 1700 presentations were given over the 5 days. A total of 5 of them were awarded the best interactive presentation prize, including András Mihály, a PhD student in the Department of Network Systems and Services at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the BME.
