The annual workshop of the Quantum Informational National Laboratory of Hungary was hosted at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics on June 9, 2023. The laboratory has been founded by Budapest University of Technology and Economics, the Eötvös Loránd University and the Wigner Research Centre for Physics in 2020. The workshop has been opened by Dr. Gábor Horváth, vice dean of BME Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics and Dr. László Lengyel, vice president of the National Research, Development and Innovation Office. Dr. Péter Domokos, the leader of the QNL introduced our activities, while Dr. Sándor Imre, scientific program leader of QNL showed the latest results in numbers. The six work package leaders talked shortly about the latest results in plenary talks, then we had 59 posters presentations to discuss the results more detailed.
Dr. László Bacsárdi, associate professor of the BME Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, as the leader of the project named Implementation of the Quantum Communication Network, briefly explained the international plans of the European Quantum Communication Infrastructure and the objectives of the QCIHungary project in his plenary presentation.
